Margaret “Sue” Kreger, 90, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Monday, May 27, 2024 at Brookside Care Center.
She was born on March 22, 1934 to the late Peter and Margaret (Reinhard) Ploskee in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.
On September 28, 1968 she married Theodore Kreger at Trinity Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1982.
Sue worked in the office for her father’s construction company Peter Ploskee Construction for many years. She also worked as a realtor and in medical billing at Kenosha Hospital.
Sue enjoyed crafts, volunteering for Hospice Alliance, Meals on Wheels, Food, Folks & Spokes, and was a former director for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, which she was very proud of. One of Sue’s passions was volunteering and volunteered for countless hours. Most of all, Sue loved spending time with her granddaughter Kylie.
Sue is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ted and Jennifer Kreger and her granddaughter Kylie Kreger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brothers Ronald E. Ploskee, Robert D. Ploskee and Peter C. Ploskee.
Funeral Services for Sue will be held on Monday, June 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials would be appreciated to Hospice Alliance or by helping someone by paying it forward.
The family would like to thank her daughter-in-law Jennifer and her niece Cindy for all the love and attention given to Sue over the past few years, as well as the staff at Brookside Care Center.
