Helen Bumpers, 91, of Kenosha passed away on July 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Helen was born on May 7, 1933, in Booneville, MS, the daughter of the late Joe and Gracie (Hannah) Pannell. She was educated in the schools of MS, graduating from Booneville High School. Helen married Noel C. Bumpers on July 12, 1952, in MS. Helen was employed as a salesclerk for a drugstore for many years. After retiring worked at a local bakery. Her hobbies included flower gardening, sewing, baking, cheering for the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and the Bulls but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan (Dennis) Barber of Rhinelander; sister, Mary (Leroy) Henderson of MS; grandchildren, Daniel (Robin) Eisenhauer, Candace Eisenhauer, Hanna (Shawn) Zapencki; also included are her great-grandchildren, Samantha, Cerena, Emily, Gavin, Preston and Leea. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Pamela; brothers, Wayne and Gerald and her sister Bessie.
A celebration of life will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Thursday July 25, 2024, from 3:00PM-4:00PM.
