Todd James Maedke, 57, of Kenosha, WI, passed away peacefully on Friday August 2, 2024, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, surrounded by family.
Born December 31, 1966, in Milwaukee, WI, he was the son of Eugene and Sandra Maedke.
On August 11, 2001, he married the love of his life Cary Glaser.
Todd graduated from Bradford High School in Kenosha. He also received an Associates of Applied Science degree from DeVry Institute of Technology, in Lombard, IL, where he was the top of his class. He worked at Circuit Works for 33 years as an Application Engineer.
Todd was an all-around hobbyist, with some of his most notable being riding and fixing up motorcycles and riding his ATVs. He loved fishing, and joined a gun club where he enjoyed shooting and being with friends. Over the years he was in pool leagues, dart leagues, joined a bowling league with good friends Pat and Debbie, until he expectantly got a GSP puppy and joined Brew City NAVHDA along with the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Wisconsin and started learning to train and test his new pup. He may not have been the best at everything, but he enjoyed every moment. He had many other hobbies and interests. He especially liked going with his Uncle Kenny to motorcycle swap meets and gun shows. He was always willing to help family, friends, and neighbors fix almost anything or just lending a hand.
In addition to his wife and mother, Todd is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Colin) Joyce; sister, Jodi (Ramsey) Matarieh; uncle, Kenny White; sister-in-law, Cherry Kenny; brother-in-law, Gary Glaser; nieces and nephews, Ednan, Alyna, Orla, Jacqueline and Erik.
Todd was preceded in death by his father.
