Mary Jewell, 82, of Kenosha passed away on August 2, 2024, at The Bay at Sheridan.
Mary was born on January 26, 1942, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Chromcik) Smolinski. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Mary married James Jewell who later passed away. She was employed as a manager for The Paper Factory for over 25 years. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, canning, was an animal lover and loved spending time with her dogs, Daisy and Rosey, enjoyed cheering for the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and the Chicago Cubs, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Leslie Jones of Kenosha, Matthew (Nikki Stefanik) Jewell of Kenosha; sister, Dorothy Stoyer of Kenosha; also included are her 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband and her granddaughter, Nicole.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
