Arthur M. Parramoure, 76, born on July 25, 1948, in Detroit, MI, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2024, with his family by his side. He leaves behind a legacy of love and craftsmanship, cherished deeply by his family and friends.
Arthur is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Jennie (Netter) Parramoure, and their children: Arthur Parramoure of Minnesota, Marissa Parramoure of Kenosha, WI, and Emily (Ryan) Rowlette of Somers, WI. He was a proud grandfather to Caresse, Sariah, Elise, Taylor, Noah, Eva, Elijah, Jayden, Vera, Mason, Bryce, and Wyatt, and a great-grandfather to Isabel, Jordyn, Zoe, Guinevere, and Jaxon.
Arthur honorably served in the U.S. Army, dedicating years of service to his country before embarking on a career as a journeyman carpenter/contractor. After retiring, he devoted his time to his family, especially his grandchildren, and pursued his passions in woodworking, handmade fishing rods, jewelry making, and leatherworking. An avid collector, he took great joy in acquiring unique watches and coins.
His life was preceded by his parents, Eleanor Mays and Arthur Parramoure Sr., his in-laws, Florence and William Netter, and his sister, Beverly Striglos.
A private service will be held at Arthur’s request. Plans for a celebration of life are scheduled for September 2024, where family and friends can gather in honor of his memory. Casey Family Options in Kenosha, WI, is assisting the family during this time.
