Dan M. Bublitz age 77 of Pell Lake, WI died September 3, 2024. He was born in Elkhorn, WI on April 21, 1947. The son of the late Elmer and Violet (West) Bublitz. On May 3, 1969 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pell Lake, WI he was united in marriage to Karen Matwij. He was proud to serve in the United States National Guard.
During his life Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing and hanging out with his friends & family at his “deer camp” in Hatley,WI. Dan was an avid Wisconsin sports fan whether it was the Badgers, Packers or Brewers he was always cheering for them. He loved going to his children and grandchildren’s sports practices and games and was always willing to lend a helping hand or coach a team. He also looked forward to family dinner nights on Wednesdays.
Survived by his wife of 55 years Karen. Father to Michelle (Matthew) Buelow. Grandfather to Megan (Bryce) Fitzgerald and Mason Buelow. Brother to Larry (Lana) Bublitz. Uncle to Brad (Lisa) Bublitz and Lance (Kelly) Bublitz as well as great nieces and great nephew. Brother-in-law to Joanne Matwij. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Bublitz, and granddaughter Josephine Bublitz.
