Sunday October 13th the world lost an amazing man: Bart Caldara.
Knowing Bart was a blessing in itself. He was always ready to embrace you with a smile and encouragement. He was also a man who would help anyone with anything. Just call Bart, and he’d be there for you.
It was a long journey for Bart, but through it all he always gave God the glory knowing that no matter what happened he would be healed. And in the end he was. Not the way all of us would have liked, but His will be done, not ours.
Bart accomplished so much in the 58 years God gave him. He made friends everywhere he went. He started a mission that feeds people of the community and it is still going strong 24 years later. 1000’s of people have been fed over the years; greeting each one as a friend, because to him they were.
Left behind to cherish his life is Tina, his true love. He would never shy away from sharing the story of how much he loved her the moment he saw her, knowing she was the one he wanted to be with for life.
Bart and Tina faced every challenge they came across together. There were some very difficult times they faced, yet they always trusted that God would see them through.
Bart’s legacy will live on in those he leaves here on Earth. Son Theodore (Martha) and daughter Amanda (Josh). His grandchildren, Lilianna, Rosalie, and Emmett. Siblings, Robin Steinman, Tami Lykins, Lyle, and Tony Caldara. Parents, George and Laurel Caldara.
Bart was a founding member of Holy Spirit Community Church and would often stand before the congregation sharing his love for Christ. His joy, his smile, his laugh, and his crazy stories will never be matched.
Bart has left a void in our hearts that no one will be able to fill. Everyone who has been blessed to know him is thankful for the time spent together. He will be greatly missed.
Bart forever trusted in God’s plan for his life. Now, as he stands in the glory of Christ, heaven becomes brighter with him there.
To Bart, we thank you for the laughs, the memories, and for being a strong man of God.
Sunday October 13th Heaven received one of the best.
