Bruce Haubrich, a longtime resident of Kenosha, passed away at Aurora Medical Center Kenosha on October 27th, 2024. He was 91 years old.
Bruce was born in Evanston Illinois to parents Arthur and Vivian Haubrich. He moved to Kenosha with his mother at a young age and was educated in Kenosha schools. In 1954 he married the love of his life, Margarette Garin, at First United Methodist Church in Kenosha. The two would spend the next 70 years together. They were blessed with two children: Steven and Susan. Bruce worked for Simmons Co. and Warwick Electric before retiring from Manutronics in 1997 after many years of faithful service.
In his spare time, Bruce was a member of various Masonic Organizations: Masonic Lodge 47, Order of the Eastern Star, Shrine Club, and most notably Job’s Daughters, serving as Supreme Associate Guardian for the organization worldwide. Through his position with Job’s Daughters, he and Margarette were able to travel the world many times over.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 70 years, Margarette; son Steven (Michelle) Haubrich; daughter Susan (Greg) Sniatynski; grandchildren Rebecca, Samantha, Maya, Max, and Jennifer; and great granddaughter Vivian.
He is preceded in death by his mother Vivian Hansen and stepfather Arthur P. Hansen.
Services for Bruce will be held privately.
