William “Bill” Zeimetz Jr., age 81, passed away Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, at Froedtert South after a brief illness. He was born February 15th, 1943, in Wabasha, MN, to the late William “Ed” and Helen (Wodele) Zeimetz. He was educated in the schools of Wabasha, MN.
On January 30th, 1965, Bill married Sandra Mytten in Austin, MN. They would spend over 59 years together.
Bill was a cement finisher for close to 40 years, working with various companies. He was a member of Local #845. He enjoyed his gardening and canning.
Bill is survived by his wife Sandy; his two sons, Dale “Scott” Zeimetz and Brett Zeimetz; and one grandchild, Rory Zeimetz. He is further survived by three sisters; Mary Schmidt, Jean (Larry) Mytten, and Linda (Lynn) Hager and brother in law Randy (Diann) Mytten.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Zeimetz, sister Joanne Zeimetz, daughter in law Kathryn Zeimetz; brother in laws: William “Bill” Schmidt and Lynn Mytten.
Per Bill’s wishes, no services will be held.
