Dorene M. Hardy, 72, of Paddock Lake, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 31, 2024 at her residence.
She was born on November 9, 1951 to the late Robert and MaryAnn (Glusak) McMahon in Chicago, IL. She was educated in Wisconsin.
On December 9, 1983 she married Carl Lee Hardy Jr. in Wheeling, IL. He preceded her in death on August 29, 2004.
Dorene was a collector of fine antiques, enjoyed dancing, fencing and Dachshunds. Dorene was a strong willed, eccentric and unique woman.
Dorene is survived by her daughter Tina Burt, Colleen Hardy and Amanda Hardy, her grandson Adrian Laurant and her siblings Debra (Al) DeSouza, Denise Baak, Cheryl (Dr. Wendel) Friedl and Robert McMahon Jr.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her dogs Herman and McQueenie.
Private Family Servies for Dorene will be held.
