Doreen Sward, 74, formerly of Kenosha, late of Burlington, passed away Wednesday October 30, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center Burlington.
She was born on August 22, 1950 to the late Carl and Doreen (Farnfield) Sward in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.
Doreen worked as a dishwasher for the Village Inn and for Pizza Hut for many years.
Doreen loved word search puzzles, bowling, crafting through Careers in Burlington and was involved with Special Olympics.
Doreen is survived by her sister Leslie Rutchik and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brothers Richard Sward, Adrian Sward and Daniel Sward and a sister Angela in infancy.
Funeral Services for Doreen will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 4:30 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service.
