Phyllis “Boots” Kienbaum, age 88, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, peacefully at her home.
She was born on September 19, 1936, to the late Gustav and Mildred (Harkner) Ristau.
She was raised and schooled in Merril, WI. On September 12, 1959, she married Walter “Wally” Kienbaum in Merrill, WI and moved to Kenosha later that year.
For many years, Boots was a dental laboratory technician for her good friend and neighbor Richard Zacker. She enjoyed going out to breakfast with her better half Wally, and best friends, Mary and Jack. She often went to Union dances and every year, traveled to Las Vegas with her better half and close friends to go to the casino.
Most importantly, she loved to be with her family. Family was everything to Boots and loved them all more than life itself.
She is survived by her son, Thomas (Susan Tolliver) Kienbaum; Sister, Karen (Glenn) Krueger; Brother, Dennis Ristau; and Son-in-law David Eddy Jr. grandchildren, Davey Eddy III, Kristine Eddy, Chris Tolliver, Michael Kienbaum and Alyssa Kienbaum; Great-grandchildren, Lizzie, Hilary, Lindsay, Elizabeth, Elis, Nathan, and Madeline; Great-great-grandchildren, Lili and Luna;
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Lori Eddy and brother Truman Ristau.

A memorial visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately.
