Colette L Kuhlmann, age 76, of Powers Lake, WI passed away December 18, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Kankakee, IL on February 25, 1948. Daughter of Joyce (Killian) Oberg and the late Harold Hobbie. On November 7, 1964, she was united in marriage to John D Kuhlmann who preceded her in death. During a long portion of her life, she and John owned the bowling alley in Twin Lakes and Antioch and Colette spent much of her time running it. Colette loved her home and where she lived by the lake and enjoyed taking care of her garden. She enjoyed going to the target range with John, taking care of neighborhood cats and other animals, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a master of cooking delicious food at work and at home. Colette loved angels, collecting Coco Cola collectibles, and building her stash of presents for all the kids in her life. She was proud of her family and loved them fiercely. She will be terribly missed by those who were blessed to know her.

Great Grandma Coke-O to Jackson Janssen, Luna Janssen, James Klimek, and Henry Howe. Sister to Jacque Schaal (the late Bruce) and Shari Pfenninger (the late Bud). Auntie Coke to Summer (Stan), Sarah (John), Sam (Holly), Ashley (Cliff), Lindsy (Evan), Chelsey (Chris), Lexey (Jake), Quincy (Elise). Great Auntie Coke to many great nieces and nephews!
Memorials may be made in her name to Aurora at Home Hospice or Lakeland Animal Shelter.
