Yvonne E. Adams, 82, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Friday, January 24, 2025 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Hospital.
She was born on March 21, 1942 to the late Charlie and Verlon (Cochran) Adams in New Site, MS. She was educated in New Site and graduated from New Site High School.
Yvonne enjoyed shopping, cooking, watching TV and listening to country music. She is known as “The Cat Lady” because that is her favorite animal. Yvonne is also known as: a strong and independent woman; that likes to do things for herself without having to depend on other people. Most of all, Yvonne loved spending time with her family.
Yvonne is survived by her son Dwight Adams, her grandchildren Melissa Adams, Tiffany Adams, David Adams, her great grandchildren Nitro Meye and Nira Meyer, her nieces and nephews John Adams, Regina Adams Mears and Doris Adams Dye.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ulas (Jean) Adams and Charles Dalton Adams.
Funeral Services for Yvonne will be held on Thursday, January 30th at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private burial will be held at a later date.
