It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kurt Knoedler on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the age of 65. Kurt was born on June 5, 1959, to June (Pabst) Knoedler and Harold Knoedler. He was a graduate of Tremper High School.
He was employed as an independent residential carpenter for most of his days, but also spent time in the printing industry.
Kurt enjoyed watching football, working on cars, pheasant hunting, fishing and he was at his happiest when was on his boat. Kurts’s pride and joy were his children, Jeni and Cody. He would do absolutely anything for his children and they were always his priority no matter what. His unwavering support and encouragement have truly shaped them into the individuals they are today. Kurt had a warm smile and genuine spirit that would make you aware that he was in the room. He had a way of making someone laugh, no matter the situation. Kurt will be remembered for his goofy personality and genuine love for his family and dedication to others when in need.
He is survived by his mother, June Knoedler; his children, Jeni Knoedler and Cody Knoedler; his 2-year-old granddaughter, Rylee Thomas who loves her grandpa so much; his brothers, Barry (Virginia) Knoedler, Lon (Bonnie) Knoedler; his nephews, Bryon and Eric Knoedler and his niece, Erin Fletcher.
Kurt was preceded in death by his father, Harold Knoedler.
Memorial services honoring Kurt’s life will be held privately.
