It is with a heavy heart, we share the passing of Rodney D. Schliepp, 65, of Kenosha, WI, who passed away peacefully at home Monday, February 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Rodney’s life was filled with so much warmth, laughter, and love. August 15, 1987, he married the love of his life, Susan Barrock, who preceded him in death March 2012. Their bond remains an inspiration to all who knew them.
Rodney will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor, his very sharp wit, which was undeniable, and his joyful spirit. Rodney was a passionate sports fan, he lived and breathed Green Bay Packers football. He loved spending his Sundays watching the Packers play and coaching them from the comfort of his living room. He was also a big Milwaukee Brewers Fan. He found a tremendous amount of joy in bowling, especially the immense sense of pride he felt when he bowled a perfect 300 game. Above all, Rodney greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren, whose love he cherished deeply. His loyal dog Lady, held a special place in his heart, their bond was one of comfort and companionship.
Rodney’s memory will live on through his children, Nick (Ashlee) Schliepp, Brittany Schliepp, and Megan (Kenneth) Ciecko; his brothers, Russell (Maria) Schliepp, Darrell Schliepp, Kenneth (Faye) Schliepp, and Gary (Diane) Schliepp; and his seven grandchildren, Jayden, Rylan, Bella, Mia, Max, Leia, and Novaly, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Rodney is finally reunited with his wife Susan, his loving mother, Jo Ann (Radtke), and his dear sister, Carol Guyer, all of whom preceded him in death.
A visitation to honor Rodney’s life will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7301 W. Nash St., Milwaukee, WI. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., with entombment to follow.
Rodney’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, he will be deeply missed.
