Tommy A. Land passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 with family holding his hand. Born in Kenosha, WI on February 1, 1945, he was the son of Howard and Ollie (Belott) Land.
On April 20, 1968, he married Alexis Matalas at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
He worked at Snap-on Tools for 36 years in the heat treat department, retiring on March 31, 2004. His passion for his work was matched only by his enthusiasm for the things he cherished, including comic books, western movies, pulp magazines, and the timeless tunes of Elvis and country music. His warm spirit and quick wit made every gathering a little brighter, and he had a unique ability to bring people together through shared interests and entertaining stories.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Alexis Land; his cherished daughter, Jessica (Mike) Sciara; his adoring grandchildren, Tristin, Delphi, Tiko, and Shiloh Sciara; his sister-in-law, Mary Ann Land; as well as his nieces and nephews. Each of them will carry a piece of Tommy’s vibrant spirit with them always.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Margie Sentieri and Howard Wade Land; his brother-in-law, Bob Sentieri and nephew, Wade Christopher Land.

A visitation for Tommy will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI.
Funeral services honoring Tommy’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
Inurnment will take place in St. James Cemetery.
