Nancy Lee Collins, a lifelong resident of Kenosha, passed away on February 26th, 2025, after a brief illness. She was 83 years old.
Born Nancy Kressel to loving parents Edward and Anna Kressel, Nancy was raised and educated in Kenosha. After high school, she was married and blessed with three children, James, Marlene, and Deanna. Nancy was a loyal Green Bay Packer fan, was a member of the Moose Lodge for many years and loved spending time at the Swedish American Club. She was a wonderful and talented home cook and loved sharing her food with all. She was famous at the Swedish American Club for bringing “Nancy’s Famous Sloppy Joes” to their Superbowl party every year.
Above all else Nancy should be remembered as a giving person, generous with her time and resources, and always helping any way she could.
Nancy is survived by her children James (Carol) Collins, Marlene Gross, and Deanna Collins. She is further survived by her numerous Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Wayne and Robert, and a sister Arlene.
Per Nancy’s wishes, services will be held privately.
