Kenosha.com’s Pet of the Week: Cairo

A sweet 10-month-old pup looking for a quiet home!

By Wisconsin Humane Society Campus

Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for more than 140 years. WHS is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and operates animal shelters in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Door, and Brown Counties, as well as a spay/neuter clinic in West Allis.

Cairo is a sweet 10-month-old pup looking for a quiet home and available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Kenosha Campus. This adorable boy weighs 47 pounds and would do best with a patient family that can give him time to acclimate and gently coach him through his new environment. Like all dogs at WHS, Cairo has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped – so he’s all set to meet his match! If you’re interested in meeting this wonderful pup, stop by the WHS Kenosha Campus during adoption hours or visit www.wihumane.org/adopt for more information.
