Larry Dean Williams, age 77, of Kenosha, passed away on February 27th, 2025.
He was born on May 9th, 1947, in Massachusetts to Arthur G. Williams and Burnita (Golwitzer). After completing school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served faithfully for several years before being honorably discharged. On June 22nd, 1996, he married Bonnie Williams and stayed married to her until the time of her passing in 2023. He and his family moved around the country to numerous places including Memphis, TN, Germantown, TN, Oak Creek, WI, and Pensacola, FL, eventually settling in Kenosha for the remainder of his life. One of his favorite past times was fishing. He found peace being near the water and would often go fishing at his lunch break at work.
He is survived by his son: Doug (Shannon) Williams, grandson: Graham Williams, siblings: Jay (Megan) Schlicher and Denise (Ed) Oilschlager, as well as many other living relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Bonnie, and a brother Dennis Williams.
The family would like to thank Hospice Alliance and all the other countless caretakers for their compassion and care in Larry’s final days. A very special thank you to the folks at the Heroes Café at Festival Foods (3207 80th St.) for their company over the years and the special honors they provided shortly after Larry’s passing.
Services for Larry will be held at Great Lakes Church (7600 75th st.) and will be announced at a later date.
