Joseph J. Otto, age 61, died on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Son of the late Larry Otto and Roseanne Ragusca, Joseph was born on December 12, 1963, in Chicago, IL. He worked as a painter and welder throughout his life, and raised three children in the Silver Lake, WI area. Joseph had a great sense of humor and was always trying to make his kids laugh. He also enjoyed drawing and showing his kids how to draw different things, some of which they still remember how to make. A lifelong fan of Ozzy Osbourne, Joseph had an unmatched love for the Prince of Darkness. His appreciation for Ozzy’s music ran deep–music that represented individuality, rebellion, and passion–and reflected Joseph’s ability to speak his mind and tell it like it was. When he wasn’t rocking out to his favorite tunes, Joseph could be found cheering on his beloved Chicago Bears or spending time with his faithful canine companion, Dani.
Joseph is survived by his children, Mykal (Alex) Miller, Nora Otto, and Robert Otto; and grandchildren, Ryder and Harvey.
A private graveside service will be held. Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home of Twin Lakes is honored to serve the Otto family.
