Nathan D. Kinney, 43, of Trevor, passed away after a courageous battle with ALS surrounded by his loving family, Sunday, March 23, 2025 at his residence.
He was born on June 25, 1981 to Alan and Trudy (Johnson) Kinney in Waukegan, IL.
Nathan worked as a Client Service Director for Alight Solutions for 24 years.
Nathan loved fishing, kayaking, nature and being in the outdoors. He also enjoyed martial arts receiving his Brazilian Jujitsu Black Belt. Nathan had a deep love for his kids.
Nathan is survived by his daughter Elle Bea Kinney, his son Cole Nelson, his parents Alan and Trudy Kinney and his brothers Joshua (Meredith) Kinney and
Aaron (Jennifer) Kinney.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral Services for Nathan will be held on Saturday, March 29th at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Kenosha Bible Church (5405 – 67th St.). Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Private Burial will take place at Wilmot Cemetery. Memorials would be appreciated to ALS Association.

I decided in the beginning, that if this is God’s will, I would do this with a joyful and willing heart. I don’t have much to offer an eternal and all-powerful God but, what I can offer is a grateful, willing heart full of worship for an amazing and loving God. God is so good.”
