Ethel Jackson was born on December 9, 1945, in Arkansas as the fourth of five children to Neal and Susie Jackson. Ethel was raised in Chicago, IL and led a life characterized by love, resilience, and a strong commitment to her family. Ethel was married twice, valuing the unique experiences and affection shared during each phase of her life. A devoted mother, she was the proud parent of four children, who in turn blessed her with numerous grandchildren and the significant joy of 14 great-grandchildren.
Ethel was a dedicated member of Christ Temple Church in Chicago, where she actively participated in Sunday school and contributed to church activities. During this time, she served as a church cook. Upon her retirement and subsequent relocation to Kenosha, WI, she became a member of Bethlehem Temple. Ethel held several positions, including Secretary of the Mission Auxiliary, Head Nurse of the UMDC, and a member of the Prayer Band.
Ethel is preceded in death by her late husbands, Randal Taylor and William Parker, as well as her daughter, Shari Jackson, and three siblings, Neal J., Jeanie J., and Dorthy Ann J. She is survived by three children: Tamra, Cyndi, and Christon, along with eight grandchildren: Chantivia, Nathan, Tyrone, Ciara, Tyrelle, Tyrese, Eugene, and Nina.
