Marion R. Hartung, 97, of Kenosha, joined her husband George in heaven on Sunday, February 14, 2021, to stand before Jesus and sing his praise for ever more.
She was born on June 4, 1923 to the late William and Marie (Westley) Rosenstock in Coal City, IL. She was educated at Lincoln Elementary and Jr. High and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1941.
Marion married George V. Hartung on August 28, 1942 in Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1995.
Marion was a member of the Ladies Home League with the Salvation Army.
Marion played softball in high school and played for the Kenosha Comets. She enjoyed walking, was a great listener and liked dragonflies.
Marion is survived by her loving son Lance G. (Vicky) Hartung, her grandson Lance A. (Mina) Hartung and a great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by a daughter Davine “Dee” Johnson and a sister Virginia Van Patton.
A Celebration of Life for Marion will be held on Wednesday, February 24th at 5:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
