Lucille M. Thomsen, age 101, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 16, 2021 at Brookside Care Center.
She was born on April 1, 1920 to the late Frank and Verna (Golomski) Lukaszewicz in Stevens Point, WI. She was educated in the schools of Stevens Point.
In 1948 she married Ralph Harris in Chicago. He preceded her in death in 1972. In 1976 she married Ewald Thomsen in Kenosha. He preceded her in death in 1988.
Lucille owned and operated Lucille’s Dress Shop for 35 years in Kenosha.
Lucille was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. She was a member of the Danish Sisterhood and Women of the Moose.
Lucille enjoyed crocheting, reading, cooking, playing cards, word and jigsaw puzzles and traveling to Europe and taking cruises.
Lucille is survived by a daughter Patricia Corbett of Kenosha, two stepsons Wayne (Joyce) Harris of Southern IL and James Harris of IL, two stepdaughters Deanna (Arthur) Dale of IL and Sheila (Joseph) Shaffer of IL, her seven nephews Edward Lukaszewicz, Donald Siville, Gerald Lukaszewicz, Thomas Lukaszewicz, Daniel Lukaszewicz, James Lukaszewicz and Joseph Cerretti, and her four nieces JoEllen Jacoby, Margie Krumpolz, Carol Woods and Arlene Lukas.
She is preceded in death by her bothers Lawrence and his wife Gertrude Lukaszewicz and Joseph and his wife Alice Lukaszewicz, her sisters Ramona and her husband Robert Sivelle and Eleanore and her husband Joseph Cerretti, a son Warren Harris and a nieces Sharon Tack and Beverly Vollman and a nephews Frank Lukaszewicz and Larry Siville.
A Memorial Mass for Lucille will be held at a later date. Private entombment will take place at All Saints Mausoleum.
