Angela Sissel, 56, of Kenosha, WI passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at her home with her daughter by her side.
She was born January 16, 1968, in Iowa to Louise Crawford. She went to school in Chariton and Ottumwa Iowa. She later attended Indian Hills Community College where she graduated with an RN degree. Angela worked at many nursing homes throughout her career giving comfort and care to so many. She moved from Iowa with her daughters and connected with family in WI.
Angela was a natural caregiver and rescued animals all her life. She also loved nature, hiking, foraging, being by the water, and above all her beautiful girls. She loved creating art, baking, reading, plants, and seeing Duran-Duran play so many times including their induction. She was caring and witty with an expert level of sarcasm, incredible comebacks and always stood up for those that couldn’t. She was anything but ordinary and will be painfully missed.
Surviving are her two children, Jessica and Shawna Sissel that she wonderfully raised with their father Bryan Sissel.
A celebration of life will be held in Wisconsin and Iowa at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to her daughter Jess Sissels’ Venmo to help with services.
