Arlen Berg, 86, of Kenosha passed away on May 16, 2024, at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Arlen was born on April 21, 1938, in Bloomer, WI, the son of the late Ewald and Minnie (Gehring) Berg. He was educated in the schools of Bloomer and Kenosha. Arlen married Kathleen White on November 30, 1957, at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church in Kenosha. He was a member of the United States Army. Arlen was employed at Outboard Marine Corporation as a die caster for 38 years. His hobbies included camping, fishing, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, spending the winters in Florida and summers up north. Arlen also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a special place in his heart for all of the dogs he and Kay had over the years.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen “Kay” Berg of Kenosha; children, Dan (Lori) Berg of Pleasant Prairie, Penny (Todd) Washburn of Pleasant Prairie; sister, Cheryl Pfeiffer of Pleasant Prairie, sister-in law Lois Lower of Manassas, VA, and his grandchildren, Bryan Berg, Tyler (Jillian) Berg, Kyle Washburn, Josh Washburn and many nephews and nieces. Arlen was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Janelle Kluver, Connie Madison, brother-in laws Gordon Kluver, Pete Pfeiffer and sister-in law Marcia White.
A memorial gathering will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Thursday June 20, 2024, from 4:00PM-5:00PM with memorial services to follow immediately at 5:00PM.
