Barbara Joy Feczko, 78 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital.
She was born and raised in Kenosha, WI on February 4, 1946. The daughter of the late Delmont and Ellen (Brown) Oquist. Barabara graduated from Tremper Highschool. After graduation, she worked for Abbott for over 30 years.
Barbara was wonderful with her hands. She took pride into making crocheted hats and mittens which she donated to homeless shelters and missionaries. She was an avid painter and loved all the animals. She loved Jesus and praised Him every day. Her trust and understanding made her a family woman who loved to watch all her great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her sister, Ellen Kaleck; brothers, Dean and Kelly Oquist; nieces and nephews, Christopher Oquist, Stephanie Gunderson, Paul Oquist, Jody Oquist, and Richard (Krissy) Frye; great-nieces and nephews, Ellen Frye, Richie (Nichole) Frye, Sam Frye, Emma Frye, and Ezarria Richardo; great-great nieces and nephews, Jahcier, Maxwell, Ethan, Antoniella, Demiliana, Elizabeth, Richie, Zuri, and Ezra.
Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her niece Adell Frye.
A celebration of life will be held at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 1:00 pm-2:30 pm.
