Jim Bailey, 76, of Kenosha passed away on Monday June 12, 2023 at Froedtert South-St. Catherine’s surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was born on January 22, 1947 in Racine, the son of the late John and Emma (Williams) Bailey. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Jim married the love of his life and best friend Elizabeth “Ann” Carr on August 10, 1991 in Kenosha. He was a member of the U.S. Army and a Vietnam veteran. Jim was employed at Outboard Marine Corporation until his retirement. His hobbies included going to sprint car races, watching NASCAR, and going to casinos, but most of all spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth “Ann” Bailey of Kenosha; daughters, Kristine (Gary Koser) Bailey of Somers, Patricia (Lisa Bulicek) Bailey of Racine, Gina (Terry) Durham of Madison, Nichole Greene of Kenosha, and Aimmee Daly of Wadsworth; 6 grandchildren, Ryan (Nicki Harrison) Bailey, Cody (Stacie) Powell, Deserai Volakis, Tyler Daly, Miah Volakis, and Dillon Daly; and 3 great grandchildren, Ben, Brantlee, & Weston, with another on the way. He is also survived by his great friends Terry and Beverly Bratzke, and Jim and Cathy Schuldt. Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra, and brother, Mickey.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Jim’s family is requesting donations to be made to any veterans organization, would be appreciated.
