BenNita “Mena” Body

BenNita “Mena” Body, born September 18, 1960 in Flint, MI. She studied at Baker University class of 1983. She was a current resident of Kenosha, WI and a former resident of Michigan, Indiana, and Mississippi. She loved reading books, country music, Green Bay Packers, and spending time with her family.She passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Robert Body, Edward Body, Chauncey Body, and Yolanda Body. Her siblings Barbara Weston, Kenneth Diamond, Renee Manuel, and Jackie Manuel. Along with her many “Kids,’ and “Nana’s Babies. She cherished all, including those she came across while working at Carthage College for the past 16 years. She is preceded in death by 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 5 grandchildren, her mother Angel Line Body, her foster mother, Annie Heming, her father Benny Lee Manuel. The memorial service will be April 13, 2025 from 12-2 p.m. at 625-57th Street Kenosha, WI 53143.
