Benny Ruffolo, age 74, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center.
Born in Marano Principato Province of Cosenza, Italy on September 24, 1948, he was the son of the late Giacomo and Saveria (Guido) Ruffolo. Benny was a graduate of Bradford High School.
On May 23, 1987 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church, he was united in marriage to Barbara Serpe.
He was employed with Chrysler for 37 years, retiring in 2007.
Benny was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church. He also was a member of the Italian American Club and Roma Lodge. Benny enjoyed playing cards, making homemade wine (which was a family tradition), bocce ball, coffee with friends and spending time with family and friends.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Benny is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Barbara Ruffolo; his children, Benny (Ala) Ruffolo, Jr, Michael (Netasha) Ruffolo and Erica (Michael) Mortenson; his grandchildren, Benny Ruffolo III, Alexis Ruffolo, Joey Ruffolo, Olivia Ruffolo, Natalie Ruffolo, Michael Mortenson, Ava Mortenson and August Mortenson; his brothers, Kelly (Rita) Ruffolo, and Armando (Vanda) Ruffolo; his sister, Rosina (Carmine) Caruso and sisters-in-law Jeri (Don) Nielson and Amelia, Nella and Maria Ruffolo and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Benny was preceded in death by his brothers, Francisco “Frank” Ruffolo, Leopoldo “Leo” Ruffolo and Serafino “Sam” Ruffolo; his nephew, John Ruffolo and his father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Florence Serpe

Funeral services honoring Benny’s life will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Pompeii Catholic Church., 2224 45th Street.
Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
A visitation for Benny will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI.
