Beverly Ann Cantwell, 88, of Kenosha, died on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin. She was born January 30, 1936, in Hebron, IL, to the late Paul and Linnea (Anderson) Danner. She attended St. Mary’s High School, and after her graduation became a flight attendant. She married the love of her life William Cantwell in 1963 and they cherished their time together before his death in 2008.
Beverly, long after she raised her five children, proudly got her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Carthage College. She worked as the Chief Testing Examiner and as the Librarian at Gateway Technical College, where she was a proud alumnus. In her final 10 years of work, she helped administer testing for prisoners looking to complete their GED.
Beverly is survived by her 5 children; William Joseph (Susan) Cantwell, Paul John (Barbara) Cantwell, Dr. Laura Marie Kleczka, Kevin Ronald (Brenda) Cantwell, David Alexander Cantwell, 8 grandchildren; William Thomas Cantwell, Sarah Nicole Cantwell, Megan Marie Cantwell, Caitlyn Jayne Kleczka, Lauren Beverly Cantwell, Samantha Kay Cantwell, Cashel Allen Cantwell, and Lisa Michael, 4 great-grandchildren; Ryan, Reese, Landyn, and Lainey.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by her 3 siblings; Roselyn Dill, Ronald Danner, and Leroy Danner.
Visitation will take place at Proko Funeral Home, on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Peter Parish, 2224 30th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53144, on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 10:00 am. Inurnment will take place privately at All Saints Cemetery.
