Beverly P. Hartman, 99, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully Friday, March 1, 2024 at Primrose Retirement Community of Pleasant Prairie.
She was born on January 26, 1925 to the late Warren and Doris (Haase) House in Chicago, IL. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She attended Gateway Technical College and St. Luke’s Nursing School.
On May 25, 1946 she married Louis Hartman at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death in 1975. On September 18, 1999 she married Henry Studtmann at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death in 2006.
Beverly was an RN at Kenosha Memorial Hospital and then at the VA Administration Hospital in Chicago. She spent 30 years being an RN and retired on August 31, 1990.
Beverly was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church and was very active within the church. She was on the church council, sang in the choir, on the worship and arts committee and was the communion coordinator for 15 years. She was also a member of the Friendly Center. Beverly also volunteered at the Shalom Center.
Beverly loved traveling.
Beverly is survived by her son David (Debra) Hartman, her grandchildren Nicole (Jesse) Maynard, Ben (Anna) Hartman, Matthew (Natalie) Hartman and Andrew Hartman (Aidan Kinney) Hartman and her great grandchildren Cole, Lily, Holly, Zach, Alex, Olivia, Owen and Silvia.
Funeral Services for Beverly will be held on Saturday, March 9th at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church (2001 – 80th St.) 12:00 p.m. (Noon). Private Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
