Carol J. Zizzo, 81, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at The Manor of Kenosha.
Born in Waukegan, IL on September 14, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Harold and LaVerne (Bowers) Chaney. In November of 1960, she married James Zizzo in Racine. They were happily married until he preceded her in death in February of 2013.
Carol loved being able to stay home and tend to the house and raise her children and grandchildren. She liked to do crossword puzzles and watch television in her spare time.
She is survived by her two sons, Jeff (Maria) Zizzo, Sr. and Curt (Dianne) Zizzo; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and her sister Peggy (Mike) Chaney- Maurer.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Chaney.
Per Carol’s wishes, private services were held.
