Charles “Chuck” Griffith, 58, of Kenosha, WI, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
Born on September 26, 1966, in Fort Worth, Texas, he was the son of the late Donald E. Griffith and Shirley Mitchell. He later moved to Kenosha, WI. He graduated from Tremper High School.
Chuck served in the United States Marine Corps, and later the United States Air Force until he was honorably discharged.
On March 16, 2019, he married Jennifer Marello in Racine County.
He was employed as an operations manager for Lydia Home Association, a residential foster care facility. He was previously employed as a journeyman welder at WE Energies.
Chuck was a member of Journey Church. He was very involved in the church as a Life Group Leader, and he also went on multiple mission trips to other countries to help build churches and schools. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, spending time with his family and puppy. He loved food, anything involving the military, and the Chicago Bears. He was a collector of many things including guns, Bears memorabilia, and vintage coin banks.
He was a great provider; he was not only generous with his money, but his time. He helped anyone in need.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Griffith of Kenosha, WI; three children, Jennifer, Melissa, and Joshua Griffith; step-son, Matthew Marello; foster daughter, Destiny Carr; five grandchildren, Evan, Teagan, Rebecca, Lukas, and Kaleb; sister, Carol (David) Gifford; two brothers, Robert and Donald Griffith; and his lifelong best friend, Joe Emery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his loyal K9 companion, Bear.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Proko Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Full Military Honors will follow. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
