Christine (Lulu) Isham, 77, of Kenosha passed away February 07, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Christine was born on January 04, 1947, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late George and Monica (Seymour) Gianakos. She was educated at St. Joseph High School in Kenosha.
Christine and Robert were married on April 14, 1978, and resided in Kenosha where they raised 11 children. Christine was self-employed and owned several businesses including Hearts & Flowers Florist, Monica’s Antiques, Monica’s Furniture, and several taverns. Christine prioritized family and friends all her life. She enjoyed singing, playing cards, playing the slots in Las Vegas, and playing bingo. In her younger years she was an avid golfer and bowler. She loved to tell stories about her life, her kids, and grand kids, but most of all she loved spending time with friends, family and especially all the grand kids and great grandkids.
Survivors include her loving children, Sue Shamberg (Greg) of Kenosha, Mike Henningfield (Ginelle) of Ogema, Steven Henningfield (Sherri) of Laona, Paul Isham (Kristen) of Milwaukee, George Henningfield (Chris) of Kenosha, Scott Henningfield (Jackie) of Kenosha, Jonathan Henningfield (Kathy) of Kenosha, Helen Croce (Joe) of Kenosha, Jimmy Henningfield (Heather) of Kenosha, 27 grandkids and 47 great grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Isham, mother and father George and Monica Gianakos, Sisters Dolores Sepanski, Rose Mary Michel, Marilyn Zelinski; Brothers George Gianakos, Tommy Gianakos and Daughters Marie Horvath, and Sue Isham
Visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 7307 40th Ave Kenosha WI, on Feb 24, 2024, from 9:00am to 11:00am with services to follow.
A celebration of life will follow the service at the Kenosha Moose Lodge 3003 30th Ave. Kenosha, WI from 1pm-6pm.
