Connie Gasser, age 84, of Kenosha passed away on April 29, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center of Kenosha with her loving family by her side.
Connie was born on August 4, 1939, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Filomena (Perola) Perone. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Connie was a homemaker, and a caregiver outside of the home for many years. She enjoyed cheering for the Dallas Cowboys in honor of her son, Mike, who passed away in 1992. She loved listening to music, especially Kenny Rogers and was thrilled to see him perform live 2 times in her life. One of her favorite past times was watching her tv programs and movies, especially anything with John Wayne in it. Her greatest joy in life was her large family and being surrounded by them and her grandchildren as much as possible. Her smile, laugh, sense of humor and heart full of love will live on forever in all of them. She was the best Ma and Grandma we could ever ask for…she is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
Survivors include her 9 children, Craig Gasser of WI, Cathy Gasser of Kenosha, Phyllis (Paul) Willing of Madison, Bill Gasser of Stevens Point, Pam Christian of Reedsburg, Scott (David Goines) Gasser of Milwaukee, Ken (Cori) Gasser of WI, Patricia Gasser of Kenosha, Jennie (Aaron) Paal of Racine; brother, Guy Perone of Union Grove; sister, Mary Crain of CO; also included are her 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael; ex-husband, Bill; fiancé, Avery; siblings and her son-in-law, Jeffrey.
A visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54th Street, on Monday May 6, 2024, from 10:00AM-12:00PM with funeral services to follow immediately at 12:00PM. Entombment will be held at All Saints Cemetery after Mass.
