Dale V. Moeller, 82 years old, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital.
He was born January 3, 1943, in Ames, IA the son of the late Virgil and Irene (Sudderburg) Moeller. On June 6, 1964, he married Doris Hill, the love of his life.
Dale was a graduate of Iowa State University, and was a proud Cyclone. He was employed by Abbott Laboratories, working as a microbiologist for many years before his retirement; he had also developed two patents for Abbott. He was an avid golfer, and Chicago Bears fan. Dale loved working in his yard. He will be remembered as a caring and helpful friend, and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; daughter Dawn Schmidt; grandsons, Nicholas Schmidt, IV and Nolan Schmidt; siblings, Ron (Karen) Moeller of Gurnee, IL, Lavonne (James) Pearson of Boone, IA, and Larry (Jan) Moeller of Boone, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Proko Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the funeral home and interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park, Somers, WI.
