David A. Schueller Sr., of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center.
Born in Waukesha, WI, on December 16, 1949, he was the son of the late Mark Joseph and Linda (Steir). He joined the US Navy on April 20, 1970, until he was honorably discharged on April 16, 1976.
On March 18, 1983, he married the love of his life Nancy Thompson in Kenosha, WI.
Dave worked for ComEd for many years as a nuclear engineer. He was very proud of his role in being a Boy Scout leader for 15 years. He was a sub vet and very proud of his military history. He loved going fishing with his family especially to Fremont, Eagle River, and Silver Lake.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Nancy; sons, David Jr. and Mathew (Rebecca Oatsvall); siblings, Mark John and Steve (Eve) Schueller; brother-in-law David Richardson; and nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ann Poff and Karin Richardson.
Memorial visitation will take place on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. with full military honors. Interment will be held privately.
