David F. Chianelli, 84, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Medical Center.
He was born on September 9, 1936 to the late Louis and Margaret (Bolone) Chianelli in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha.
David entered the US Army and was in the 101st Airborne. He was honorably discharged.
On November 25, 1961 he married Mary “Mickey” Ortell. She preceded him in death in 2006.
David worked as a general foreman for AMC/Chrysler, retiring from there.
David was a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner.
David loved gardening and was featured in the Kenosha News, enjoyed traveling to Missouri and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
David is survived by his children Jody (James) Kollmann and Terry (Annie) Peck, his grandchildren Samantha and Rebecca Kollmann, Nathan, Ben, Paris, Peyton and Preston Peck, his great grandchildren Eliana, Weston and Scout and his siblings Laura Ruffalo, Kathy (Rick Vitacco) Wilson and Frank Chianelli.
He is preceded in death by two sisters Jeanette Lewis and Phyliss McIntyre and a brother Louis Chianelli.
