David Michael Rogers, 32, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center – Kenosha.
Born in Oak Lawn, IL, on March 15, 1991, he was the son of Eddie and Katie (O’Leary) Rogers.
On April 3, 2021, he married Dana Kuyawa. He was a loving and faithful husband.
David’s hobbies were fishing, cooking, playing Xbox, and was an avid Chicago sports fan. When he was younger, he played traveling baseball, basketball, and CYC football. He enjoyed auto racing, his favorite race was the Little 500 in Anderson, IN.
Survivors include his wife: Dana Rogers; daughter: Ameya Escamilla-Rogers; father and step-mother: Eddie and Sally Rogers of Elgin, IL; three brothers: Barrett (Kate) Rogers of Cartersville, GA, Brandon (Ariel) Rogers of Andrews, NC, and Sean (Ilana) Rogers of Summerville, SC; a grandmother: Carolyn Rogers of Murphy, NC; uncle: Scott (Nancy) Rogers of Murphy, NC; mother-in-law: Nancy Kuyawa of Kenosha; and sister-in-law: Nicole (Richard) Bartholomew. He is further survived by multiple nieces and nephews on both sides, his best friends: Mike Sternberg and Aaron Bierwirth; many other relatives and friends; and his beloved Bull Terrier, Ryanne.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Katie; an unborn infant; and his father-in-law, Paul Kuyawa.
