Diane Bohnen, 68, of Kenosha passed away on Monday October 18, 2021, at Froedtert South-Kenosha.
Diane was born on March 4, 1953, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Leo & May (Otto) Schwaiger. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Bradford High School. Diane married Robert Bohnen Sr., on September 26, 1987, in Kenosha. She was employed for many years as an administrative assistant at St. Casimir Church & Baptist Tabernacle for many years. Her hobbies included cheering for the Packers , but most of all spending time with her family & friends, especially her grandchildren. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and as of January 2021 her granddaughter Ella and 1st great granddaughter Kyla. She loved going to events that each of the grandchildren had and cheering for them, she was their loudest and biggest fan. She always wanted her grand babies to know she was there, and they definitely knew!!
Survivors include her husband, Robert Bohnen Sr. of Kenosha; children, Kelli (Killis) Gayheart, Don (Erin) Waldman, Robert (Barb) Bohnen Jr., all of Kenosha, Edward (Chris) Bohnen of Wooddale, IL, Valerie (Gary) Olsen of Pewaukee; sister-in-law, Gail Schwaiger of Sparta; niece, Karen Schwaiger; nephew, Mike Schwaiger; 15 grandchildren; and 2 great-granddaughters. Also survived by many other family & friends. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Larry Schwaiger.
