Duane J. Horndasch, age 89, of Twin Lakes, WI, passed away on August 10, 2024. He was born on March 28, 1935, the son of the late George and Helen (Meyer) Horndasch. He was united in marriage to his loving wife, Helen Heslin, on May 2, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois. The couple raised four children and loved to spend time together as a family. A few years after Helen’s passing in 2005, Duane was lucky enough to find companionship and love again with Anna Hoggard, who has been his partner in life for the last 17 years. In his free time, he enjoyed painting, and spending time with family and friends. He loved cars, and his first true love was his 1961 T-bird. Duane worked as a roofer for 30 years and he enjoyed his retirement attending senior events with the new friends he made in Twin Lakes. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend to many. He will be missed deeply by his family.
Duane is survived by his four children; Darren (Jamie), Patrick (Ruth), Timothy (Hae-Jin) and Brian (Erica), nine grandchildren; Ryan, Brandon, Nick, Kiersten, Quin, Peyton, Sean, Kaitlyn and Aiden, seven great-grandchildren and life-partner; Anna Hoggard.
Duane is preceded in death by his wife; Helen, parents; George and Helen, Brother; Richard and two sisters; Marilyn and Joan.
