Frank Chianello, 88 years old of Kenosha, WI passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his home.
He was born March 24, 1936, in Surdo, Cosenza, Italy, the son of the late Umberto and Giuseppina (Cosentino) Chianello. On July 5, 1964, he married Theresa Ruffolo in Marano Principato, Cosenza, Italy. They recently celebrated their 60th anniversary together.
After marriage, Frank and Theresa moved to the United States when he was 28. He was a family man and loved being around his children and grandchildren. He was their number one supporter. He was a barber for many years and was a member of the Italian American Club and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Theresa; children, Dr. Josephine (David) Berman and Albert (Anne) Chianello; grandchildren, Dr. Benjamin Berman, Ellen Chianello, Frank Chianello, Matthew Berman, and Madeline Chianello; siblings, Constantina (Mike) Costanzo, Maria (Santo) Arinta, and Rosetta DeRango; sister-in-law Dora Ruffolo; brother-in-law, Leo (Rosa) Ruffolo; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Giovannina (Luigi) Delcastegne; brothers-in-law, Mario DeRango and Luigi Ruffolo.
Visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Saturday October 26, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until the time of prayers at 10:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1919 54th St., Kenosha, WI. Entombment will immediately follow at All Saints Mausoleum, Pleasant Prairie, WI.
