Fred L. Schultz, 71 years old, of Kenosha, WI was born into eternal life Monday, July 17, 2023, with his beloved daughters by his bedside.
He was born into life to Fred M. and Betty J. (Jensen) Schultz.
Fred proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam.
On May 1, 1976, he married Vicki Janis in Zion, IL and together they raised three daughters: Sue, Lisa, and Peggy.
Throughout Fred’s career, he didn’t find his love and passion for what he did until J&F Glass Block and Masonry, which he owned and operated from 2001-2007 with James Pivovar, his long-time friend, which he considered his non-biological son. In 2007, Fred became sole owner/operator which he remained until 2018 when his daughter, Sue, partnered with him and they continued together right to his day of passing.
Fred loved warm weather, sunshine, and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed gardening fruits and vegetables and teaching his grandchildren all about it. He loved growing berries and would call for his grandchildren to berry pick with him. He had a green thumb and was known as the plant hospice, every plant he touched he gave life too. He was a man of integrity and prided himself in his work, plants, yard, and his beautiful fish tanks. Fred was a very hardworking, dedicated, strong man with a huge heart made of gold, even at his worst he would never turn down a hand in need, in his faith, he knew that God would always provide. He cherished time with his family and always enjoyed spending time with close friends.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Vicki Schultz; his three daughters: Sue (Donald Gray) Schultz, Lisa (Fernanda) Arizola, and Peggy (Raymond Tipton) Schultz; grandchildren: Nevaeh Schultz, Quintin Schultz, Savanah Schultz, Gabrialla Arizola, Luna Arizola, and Victor Arizola; his brother: Peter (Judy) Schultz; and his beloved dogs: Okie and Diamond.
