Freddie DeLacy, 79, of Kenosha passed away on January 6, 2025, at Kenosha Place surrounded by his loving family.
Freddie was born on November 1, 1945, in Kenosha, the son of the late Richard and Inez (Thomas) DeLacy. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha graduating from Bradford High School. Freddie married Janet Wright on June 22, 1968, in Kenosha. He was self-employed as a contractor for many years. Freddie was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He enjoyed helping people in the ministry, singing, driving cars, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Janet DeLacy of Kenosha; children, Shannon (Kristy) DeLacy of Kenosha, Shawn (Cari) DeLacy of CA, Shala (Daniel) Mihm of IL, Shad (Natalie) DeLacy of Kenosha, Shavez (Julia) DeLacy of Kenosha; sister, Sandra (Tom) Firmani of Caledonia; also included are his grandchildren, Kade (Lara) DeLacy and Tyson (Sarah) DeLacy. Freddie was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday January 10, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (7333-Green Bay Rd., Kenosha WI 53142) from 3:00PM-5:30PM with memorial services to start at 6:00PM.
