Garrett Vincent Reynolds, age 30, passed away unexpectedly on April 14th 2025.
Garrett was born in New York to parents Audrey and Gordon Reynolds, and he grew up in the Long Island New York area. He also spent some time in Colorado as a child before moving back to New York where he finished school. After, he enlisted in the US Navy where he proudly served as a submarine sonar technician for the USS Buffalo. He was very proud to have served his country, and even re-enlisted in the Navy Reserves. It was through the Navy that he eventually ended up in Kenosha only a few short years ago, but he made many friends in the brief time he was here.
Outside of work, Garrett loved Karaoke, always signing up as “Stitch.” He loved reading, playing video games, playing board games, and his favorite movies were “How to Train Your Dragon” and “Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.” He was also a big history buff, and could go on and on about historical events he was interested in.
Above everything else, he especially loved hanging out with his “future step kids” Addison and Nolan, who he loved as if they were his own. Garrett and his fiancé Karen were expecting their first baby together, and Garrett was so excited to be a dad. He even cried when he found out.
Garrett is survived by his fiancé Karen Nickos, his “future step kids” Addison and Nolan Nickos, his mother Audrey Reynolds, a large extended New York family, and many friends from far and wide.
Garrett was preceded in death by his father Gordon Scott Reynolds, and his brother Craig Reynolds.
Services for Garrett will be held at a later date. More details will be posted as they become available, so check back frequently.
