Gayle Nancy Olson, 58 years old, of Kenosha, WI passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on April 20, 1966, in Chicago, IL to the late Eugene and Elaine (Troester) Puetz. She graduated from Luther North High School and worked as an operations manager at a food pantry.
Gayle was a long-time member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Gurnee. She enjoyed spending time with her family, rooting for her favorite Chicago sports teams, especially the Cubs, and sharing her expansive baking and cooking knowledge with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards and would never turn down a game of connect 4 with her grandson Lukas (even though she knew he would win). She loved watching her granddaughter Linzy perform her gymnastics routines, enjoyed sweet treats with her grandson Kayden, playing dress up fashion shows with granddaughter Kaeliana, and reading stories and snuggling her granddaughter Lainey.
Gayle is survived by her children, Tera (Joseph) Redman, Marc (Nicole) Redman, Heather (Major) Redman, Brandon (Kaitlyn) Olson; siblings, Garry (Cindy) Puetz, Gregg (Linda) Puetz; grandchildren, Lukas, Linzy, Lainey, Kayden, and Kaeliana; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Andrew, Dawn, and Bethann. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Gayle was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Puetz, and her infant grandchild, Zyaire.
Services for Gayle will be held March 13, 2025, at 1pm at Bethel Lutheran Church in Gurnee, IL. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Bethel Lutheran Church, Gurnee, IL.
