Gemma L. Santelli, 86, of Kenosha, WI, passed away on December 25, 2024, at Casa Del Mare surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Hancock, MI on December 20, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Equisto “Chester” and Louise (Paoli) Guidotti. Gemma went to school and received her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Medical Technology from Michigan Technology University.
On November 10, 1962, she married Guy J. Santelli in Hancock, MI, and they were blessed to be able to celebrate 53 years of marital life together before he passed in March of 2016.
Gemma was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Kenosha and took part in the choir and the Ladies Auxiliary. She then worked as a medical technician for St. Catherines Hospital. When she had children, she was privileged to become a homemaker and raise her family. Gemma loved to knit, cook, bake and read. She enjoyed taking her children and grandchildren to the library. She loved spending the last 25 winters in Florida with the Naples condo family.
Survivors include her four sons, Sammy (Mary Jo) of Kenosha, Paul (Debbie) of Howard, Timothy (Anna) of Kenosha, Guy II (Anna) of Kenosha; daughter in law, Jennifer of Kenosha; eleven grandchildren, Maria (Nick), Ashley (Matt), Monica, Vinny, Douglas, Francesca (Christian), Adrianna, Dominic, Julia, Matteo and Joseph; three great grandchildren, Emma, Giovanni, and Noel; and brother, Peter (Kathy) Guidotti.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Anthony.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Proko Funeral Home from 8:30 am concluding with prayers at 11:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at Noon. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
