Giulio Salvatore Campo, 81, of Kenosha passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center.
He was born on January 7, 1943 to the late Andrea and Giuseppa (Fasolo) Campo in Burgio, Sicily, Italy.
On September 8, 1978 he married Helen Mellott. They met while they were on vacation and through prayers.
Giulio enjoyed Elvis impersonations with his son. They were the first Father and Son Elvis impersonators around the world. He, with his son, was a Chicago actor in movies, TV series and theatre. He enjoyed working with his hands with house repairs, electronics, plumbing, furniture making, carpentry, a jack of all trades.
Giulio worked as a ground’s keeper for Winnemac Park for the Chicago Park District for many years. Giulio also was a First Responder for the Chicago Fire Department.
Giulio is survived by his son Angelo Campo and step son Shawn Doughty, his grandchildren Cristina Campo and Caleb Doughty, his siblings Luca Campo and Angie Pollina and two nieces.
He is preceded in death by his wife Helen Marie Campo, a daughter Christina Marie Campo and a sister in infancy.
Funeral Services for Giulio will be held on Friday, May 10th at 10:30 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 9:30 a.m. Minister Cheryl McCrary will officiate and also sing. Interment will follow the service at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Milwaukee.
